After a short break, York Ceramics Fair returns in a new, much bigger and better space. The event is selected and run by and for the makers, and our aim is to provide an unpretentious and affordable platform that nonetheless showcases only the finest makers working in clay today. No commission is taken on sales, and this is a chance to buy directly from the maker and support the sector.

For the first time at one of our events, we’re delighted to give visitors a chance to get your hands dirty and your mind active by helping to sculpt a collection of objects over the weekend. Hosted by two Stoke-on-Trent stalwarts: Clay College and Potclays, come and have a go at our making table at any time over the weekend and help to create an ever evolving exhibition.
Potclays is a fourth generation family company with 90 years history in Stoke-on-Trent making top quality clay and we’re very grateful to them for providing all the clay for this project.
