The event is indoor, on the ground floor of the Knavesmire Suite at York Racecourse.

ACCESS

York Racecourse is a fully accessible venue. There will be Blue Badge parking just near the entrance through the Houghton Building where there is a ramp down to the main entrance. For specific enquiries around disabled access please contact [email protected]

HOW TO FIND US: York Racecourse, Knavesmire Road, York, YO23 1EX

FREE SHUTTLE BUS: Departing from the Memorial Gardens coach stand on Leeman Road close to the Station. Running approximately every 40 minutes, starting from 09.30am on the Saturday and Sunday mornings. All timings to and from the fair depend on the traffic congestion at the time.

Last Buses from the Fair to the Station: 17.15 There will be a temporary sign on the bus stop indicating where the pick-up point is, and the buses are run by York Pullman Bus Company.

CAR: There is a plentiful amount of free parking space at the racecourse and we will have stewards to direct you. The best way to approach is from the A64/Ring Road following signs to the racecourse through the village of Bishopthorpe. Alternatively, if traffic is not too bad, continue on the A1036 Tadcaster Road until the brown sign directing you up Knavesmire Road.

TRAIN: York Racecourse can be reached via LNER, CrossCountry, Grand Central, Transpennine Express, and Northern trains with fast and frequent connections to London Kings Cross, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, and many other destinations. Alight at York station, which is 2.3 km (30 min) walk or a 5 minute taxi to the racecourse.

BUS: Nos 11 and 26 will get you closest to the venue

TAXI: York Racecourse is just a 5 min taxi drive from York city centre and York Train Station. You can easily pre-book a taxi or take one from taxi ranks in the centre or outside the station.

WALK: York Racecourse is a 2.6 km (30 min) walk from the city centre.

CYCLE: There are plenty of cycle racks at the racecourse, which is an 11 min cycle from the city centre.

The racecourse is about a 30 minute walk from York Railway Station.

There is an on-site café at the Racecourse open from 10am each day, serving a delicious range of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks.

VISITING SAFELY

The venue is extremely spacious and to aid with distancing, tickets are issued for before 1pm and after 1pm. Once inside, you may stay as long as you like.
