I make a range of both domestic and decorative earthenware inspired by the Glorious English and European Folk Arts traditions. All the work is hand built or thrown on a wheel. Very often using both these techniques in a single piece. Decorated with sprigs, slips and coloured glazes to give rich surfaces.
My aim is to give the viewer a narrative with a sense of the whimsical.
