Micaela Schoop

Micaela’s ceramics combine organic forms with elaborate surface decoration, which are all meticulously hand-painted. Her inspiration comes from ethnological patterns and historical ceramic traditions to which she adds text in various visual communication systems such as Morse or QR codes which directly reflect and comment on current issues and allow her to explore ideas relating to human communication.
