Jin Eui Kim

My work explores the perception of three-dimensional ceramic forms through tonal bands and clay arrangements that generate visual effects. By manipulating the surface—removing or limiting visual information—I invite viewers’ perceptions to shift between illusion and reality. Through these visual phenomena and subtle physical disruptions on the surface, my work engages the viewer in questioning what is seen and what is real.
