Saltglazed domestic pots that straddle the boundary between utilitarian function and the ‘abstract vessel’. Bottles and boxes together with teapots and jugs that feature open handles. Forms derive from early interests in aviation (a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the 1970s) and the later discovery of the inventiveness of the Bauhaus and the radical approaches of contemporary architecture.
