Colin Jowitt

Colin draws his inspiration from landscapes formed over millions of years through the erosion of water and ice. These patterns seen in nature, especially topography and contour lines, influenced his first pieces, producing strong stylized surfaces. Development during the last 10 years has led to the exploration of different techniques. He responds to each unique piece, allowing the patterns to evolve. These surfaces attempt to mimic the patterns eroded into the landscape.
