Geometric form can be drawn and understood. However, as a shallow ceramic, with its clarty (muddy) solidity, the illusion can be obfuscated. Here is the fun: in foiling our recognition of the portrayed object with another shape.

I use mixed clays with integral stains, sometimes with coloured slips and fired to stoneware.
