Qi Fang Colbert

Qi Fang Colbert is a Northumberland based ceramicist, artist and PhD Fine Art graduate specialising in hand-built and thrown stoneware forms. All of Qi’s works are free hand carved with highly detailed original illustrated narratives that are inlaid with slip and hand painted with underglazes. Her organic-shaped works explore the relationship and interaction between humans and our natural world and are inspired by real life observations and imagined narratives that Qi develops through a stream of consciousness drawing process.
