I use earthenware clay as a canvas for highly decorative surfaces incorporating botanicals with avian imagery. Inspiration is drawn from many sources but historical and contemporary textiles hold a particular interest and most often form the backdrop for the work. The birds are often inspired by those seen on my travels along with garden varieties.
